School to Sea Inspires the Next Generation
SSCW is committed to guiding educators of all disciplines to increase confidence and engagement in their classrooms by mentoring youth in their learning. Content comes alive through place-based experiential learning. School to Sea programming supports standardized curriculum while deepening the students’ and educators’ connection and awareness of coastal and ocean ecosystems throughout their local watershed.
The goal of all School to Sea programming is to inspire civic engagement and stewardship that will protect natural resources while promoting environmental justice and community resiliency.

Discovery in the Classroom
Locally relevant content can be a springboard for beginning a science unit or as a unit summary. Relevant content can inspire stewardship activities year-round.

Join us for explorations outside the classroom. We bring the expertise and equipment to help students take a critical look at their watershed, coastal, and ocean environments.
